This past week we had been getting lots and lots of rain (on the other hand we do need it) but as a Sacramento Real Estate Photographer it would seem like a bad idea to photograph anything while very gloomy/rainy weather, especially listings for real estate agents. Although I have had photographed in the past not only in raining season but also in snow, fog and other bad situations where the weather is not really cooperating for the best photos. Yes it is true that having good sunny weather is the best time to do exterior photos but in reality it’s impossible to have great weather all the time. For that reason I am very skilled in photoshop were replacing the sky is necessary to deliver great photos to all my agents, because the end result could play a major factor in the sale of the home. So this post is to show how the listings could look like with and without great blue sky as well as if the sky is not perfect during sunny weather.

And here’s a comparison when the sky is almost blue and there is some sunshine but needs a bit more interest in the photos, because sometimes the sky is just not right for the image.

I still can’t believe that we are almost done with the second month of 2018 because to me I still think of 2017 and of so much that has happened in the past year regarding interior design photography. There were plenty of project which I have photographed in the last year and I do say thing with honor and thankful heart to all my clients who have hired me as a interior design photographer for their projects.

But today I wanted to show one project in particular that I thought was done beautifully by TLN Interiors. To me it felt very cozy space to be in with wonderful detailing not only of major furniture but also of accents throughout the space. As a Sacramento Interior Design Photographer I have photographer few projects for TLN Interiors and all of their project was just amazing. I can say as much as I want but the photos speak for themselves.

Even though Shutter Avenue Photography is Sacramento Architectural Photographer, I still do travel to a good extance to other locations to photograph projects. This post is about one of those travels to Denver Colorado and very unique restaurant which I had an opportunity to photograph. Park Burger is a new restaurant with only few locations in Colorado and to have this opportunity to photograph one of their locations was incredible. I loved the feel of the restaurant and the food was A+ in my books. It wasn’t an easy project since they couldn’t just shut down the restaurant for me to photograph so I had to work around a specific time just before they opened which still created few challenges such as waiters setting everything up, then when they opened I also had to make sure not to capture any clients. Although I still loved it. Best part was to do the dusk photo which is below. There is something about dusk photos that I just like, maybe it’s the challenge of creating a great image by lighting the building with strobes while seing the final image in my head. Well below are few photos which I have delivered to the owner of the restaurant.

Since I have been so busy with Sacramento Real Estate Photography in reality its very hard to keep up with social media and especially writing blogs. So for this post while I have few minutes to spare I will be very short and wanted to talk about dusk photography for real estate. Some time ago during summer an agent asked me what makes me different from other photographers in the area of dusk photos. Well it’s not easy to explain and for that purpose I am writing this blog post to show what I do to get the image as you have seen at the top. With that said I will have to mention; I do not put the same amount of technics or the style which I do for architectural photography (architectural firm, contractors and so on) due to few other reasons. As a Sacramento Real Estate Photographer it’s all about how quickly I can get the photos to the agent (which is a big requirement) as well as it’s all about the home (to show what it is and make it stand out on the MLS). No I will not downgrade my skills while photographing or post processing, but the techniques for architectural photography would be different; with more time not only to shoot but also to process the photos to perfection. Now that we are in 2018 and as a Sacramento Real Estate Photographer I just wanted to write a post with a map of all the listing that I have done in Sacramento Metro Area. It’s been a very good year for me and I feel very blessed and thankful to all the agents (list below) whom have put their trust in me to photograph their homes which in total came out to just a bit short of 230 listings.

As a Sacramento Real Estate Photographer I had to limit the map size to an area of where I have photographed most of the listing in the past year so areas such as Cameron Park, Woodland, Lincoln and so on have not been included with this map (or the map would get way to large). Although interesting thing which I would like to mention is that I had no listing to photograph in Davis, none whatsoever 0_o but overall it’s been a great year and lets see what 2018 has instore for Shutter Avenue Photography.
